WhatApp will ultimately not limit the functions in case of refusal of the new conditions

WhatsApp has given in and ultimately will not restrict functionality if users do not agree to the new terms of service. These have been controversial since their announcement a few months ago.

The messaging intended to limit access from May 15 for all those who did not accept the new rules. But several countries criticized the conditions, including India and Germany for Europe. In view of the reactions, the restrictions are dropped.

In a statement to The Next Web, WhatsApp announces:

Given recent discussions with various privacy authorities and experts, we would like to clarify that we currently have no plans to limit how WhatsApp works for those who have not yet accepted the update. . Instead, we will continue to remind users from time to time of the update as well as when people choose to use relevant optional features, such as communicating with a business that receives support from Facebook.

Those who have accepted may wonder if it is possible to go back and therefore refuse. The answer is no. Also, it is good to note that WhatsApp’s new plan regarding its terms of use is not necessarily valid for life. The messaging can go back at any time and force the acceptance of the new rules to continue using the application normally.
