This stand charges your smartphone wirelessly with a power of 100 W

Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has introduced another charging stand. While its last top stand offered a power of only 80 W, it offers an incredible 100 W. The GSMAren portal informs about the novelty.

The new 100 W stand shares most specifications with the older 80 W model

The insanely fast charging stand is not very different in appearance or guts from its 80 W predecessor, which has been on the market for some time. You can place the device vertically or horizontally on it, it uses Qi technology and inside you will find a dynamic fan that will start only when needed. It also offers protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, electrostatic charge, can detect foreign objects and, compared to the older model, adds another protective layer for current calibration. The package also comes with a 120 W charger.

You can distinguish them on the outside only on the basis of color versions. 100 W model with marking MDY-13-EL will be sold in black with a gold accent, while the older 80 W model with the designation MDY-13-ED is available in white with silver accents.

Xiaomi Mi 11

The new 100 W stand is starting to be sold in China today for 599 CNY or about 78 euros. Xiaomi has not yet announced international availability.
