Nokia 6.1, 7.1 and 7 Plus and Galaxy Note 9 are updated with January update

Nokia is rolling out a new security update for three of its devices. A new security patch is also being released for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9.

Various smartphones will now receive the update to security update January 2021. The latest update will first be available with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. As far as is known, no other improvements or new functions will be implemented with this update. The update is almost 123MB in size.

Nokia is also rolling out the update for a number of smartphones. Wim and Han let us know that the Nokia 6.1 can install this update from now on. Other Nokia devices that will receive the January update are the Nokia 7.1 and the Nokia 7 Plus.

When the update for your device can be downloaded, you will receive a notification on your smartphone.
