When you want to make WhatsApp stickers, you always need another app or program. This will probably no longer be necessary soon, because then it will be possible to make the stickers in WhatsApp itself.

Create WhatsApp stickers in app
You have been able to send stickers to your friends in WhatsApp for a long time, but to create them you always had to use a different program on your iPhone. That was fairly easy, but you were always busy with multiple apps. Did you make the stickers once? Then you had to export them in a sticker pack and send them to WhatsApp before you can use them.

That seems to be about to change soon. Because currently the beta version of WhatsApp Desktop contains a function to make stickers. You can use your own photos to make the stickers, which you can edit immediately in WhatsApp Desktop. Then you can add text, emoji and drawings.
WhatsApp stickers: in WhatsApp Desktop beta
The feature is currently only available in WhatsApp Desktop beta. It is not yet known when the feature will come to the final version. Whether making stickers in the app will also come to WhatsApp for the iPhone remains a mystery. Still, it would be very strange not to bring this feature to the mobile phone in the end.
Available WhatsApp stickers in the app
WhatsApp has also built in quite a few stickers that you can download and use for free. You can’t think of it that crazy or there is a sticker of: memes, cat pictures, dog pictures and characters from well-known TV series.
