Gaia-X: one European cloud, but is it secure enough?

European organizations and governments have been working on Gaia-X since 2019, a joint data infrastructure to keep Europeans’ data safe. Because now that data is stored at all kinds of foreign companies, which have different standards and values. As Gaia-X progresses, critics wonder how European and safe the ambitious project will be.
