Best Android apps in the Google Play Store week 10

In ‘best apps’ we discuss a selection of cool apps that can inspire you. This time we bring, among other things, an alternative to the Reddit app, a notes app and a handy weather app with beautiful widgets.

Weather & Widget – Weawow

WeaWow is one of our favorite editors’ weather forecasting apps. In the app you can choose a provider for your weather forecasts and then you can look in detail at the temperature, precipitation, wind force, humidity and more. The app has a handy interface that quickly shows you the weather forecast of all your favorite places. You can even adjust the layout to your liking in this app so that you are the first to see the information that you find important. An extremely strong aspect are the Weawow widgets that you can also personalize.

Infinity for Reddit

The social news app Reddit is extremely useful when you want to receive all possible information about certain topics. Unlike the regular Reddit app, Infinity comes with an ad-free interface that also has fewer distractions.

The app comes with multiple themes and they let you quickly switch between different accounts. The Lazy mode is also remarkable. It allows you to scroll through all messages without even moving your thumb across the screen. Infinity was created by a university student and the app has rave reviews in the Play Store.

Notepad – Notes and Checklists

Notepad is a note-taking app that focuses on user-friendliness and a few smart functions. The app has a simple interface that allows you to create notes and checklists. The app can back up to Google Drive and Notepad can send smart reminders when you arrive at a certain location.

What really makes the app unique and what sets it apart from other note-taking apps is the way it handles phone calls. During a phone call you will see handy buttons that lead you to your calendar, messages or notes. After a call, the call appears at the top of Notepad and you can immediately link a note to the phone call.

Avenza Maps: Offline Mapping

Avenza Maps has maps that you can consult offline. This is possible for all your bike rides and walks. The app contains topographical maps that show all small forest roads in Avenza Maps. In the app you can also find your route afterwards and during your trip it is also easy to follow your location and take photos of your location directly from the app. Avenza can also help you if you want to map out a route yourself in advance, because you can export those routes and then share them with others.
