Mail iCloud is down, Apple announces
The week is off to a bad start for iCloud Mail, with Apple announcing that its service is currently down for some users. The manufacturer advises that the problems started at 3:09 p.m. today and are still ongoing.
“Some users are affected. Users might have difficulty accessing iCloud mail ”, indicates Apple on its system status page. There is not the slightest bit of information on the nature of the problem, just as there is no detail for a return to normal. Hopefully it’s not too long, given the importance of service.

There is nothing you can do on your end for now: you have to wait for Apple to correct the problem on its end.
