Will this be Samsung’s first scroll phone?

Other Samsung “flexors” have been officially launched, so what’s next? Most likely it is already underway further development their successors, but it can be assumed that the Korean giant is already looking for other design options. Samsung, for example, is definitely one of the companies that is expected to produce the first mass-produced scrolling phone. We have already seen (and in the case of Oppo X 2021 even tried) a lot of different concepts from different manufacturers and designers, but who will finally bring this evolutionary branch to the brink? The following Samsung patent looks very promising.

The well-known LetsGoDigital server is behind the discovery of registered documents and the creation of visualizations. Renders point to a device that is very similar in design and type of display unwinding to the aforementioned Oppo X 2021. But a few things are very different. Unwinding part of the screen for example, it should obviously not be supported in the full thickness of the mobile phone, but only in a very thin plate with a tiny frame.

The patent also provides for one additional display and, among other things even a hidden camera. This potential scrolling phone, created by the authors of the render as the Galaxy Z Slide, should have three cameras on its back.
