WhatsApp voice messages are just now getting useful!

Do you often use WhatsApp voice messages? With this new update, the service is really pleasant to use.

Whether you often or rarely use WhatsApp voice messages, the application does not work very well. Over the years, the messaging service has made some updates to the feature. However, there are still plenty of things to note or criticize.

With this new update, WhatsApp is taking another step in the right direction in that regard. It will now be possible to scroll through other chats while listening to someone’s recording. This is especially nice if someone sends a recording of several minutes. This way you don’t have to do anything and listen, but you can just do other things within the application in the meantime.

In addition, it will be possible to play back recordings at a faster rate. That’s handy if you’re in a hurry. It is possible to play a recording 1.5 or even 2x as fast. The latter is not recommended, it is very fast. But maybe you know someone who speaks very slowly. Then it’s nice again.

It doesn’t stop there. A third new functionality makes it possible to pause and resume a recording halfway through. This way you can send one longer recording to a person in pieces.
