WhatsApp rolls out limit of 512 users in groups to everyone

Improvements are rolling out to WhatsApp from now on. The application can now handle much larger groups. Previously, the limit was 256 users, which is now much more.

Larger WhatsApp groups

Group size in WhatsApp has doubled, allowing WhatsApp groups to be much larger. Previously, a WhatsApp group could consist of up to 256 users. From now on, an improvement will be rolled out whereby the group can consist of a maximum of 512 people. The change will be rolled out to everyone from now on, so can be used from now on. This applies to both existing and new groups.

The fact that more people can now join a WhatsApp group is not the only improvement. Previously, the messaging service has already added the option to use emoji responses, but also to send larger files.
