Nokia T20 and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series get January update

Samsung is rolling out the new January patch for the Galaxy Note 20 series. We can also inform you about this news for the Nokia tablet; the Nokia T20. This device will also receive a new security patch.

January update for three models

Three devices will be updated with the January security update. The latest security update is first of all ready for the Nokia T20. We recently discussed this tablet in detail in the Nokia T20 review. It’s a small, modest update at just 19.10MB in size. We therefore only see the new Google security patch in the changelog, but no further new functions or changes.

Samsung is rolling out the same update for the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Samsung has also added its own patches. It is an update of a small 190MB in size, which will now be distributed in the Netherlands and Belgium. The update follows the Android 12 update that was released earlier this month, which included the December update. No further features or major changes will be made with this January update.
