update with One UI 2.5 and December patch
In the Netherlands, Samsung has started distributing a new update for the Galaxy A50. No, it is not the update to Android 11, but another nice update. You will now see One UI 2.5 and the December update.
One UI 2.5 for Galaxy A50
There is good news for the owners of the Samsung Galaxy A50. The smartphone of the Korean manufacturer will now be updated with an update to One UI 2.5, Ricardo tells us. This gives the phone a range of new functions. With this new version, a series of new features are added to Samsung’s interface.
You now see the quality information for WiFi networks, so you can see whether a network is fast or slow. Furthermore, the keyboard app has been expanded with a search function for YouTube and you can split it in two in landscape mode. The Always On Display has support for Bitmoji, the messaging app has been improved and some other improvements have been made by Samsung.
The update also brings December 2020 security update to the Galaxy A50. This addresses a few dozen vulnerabilities in the system. If you own a Samsung Galaxy A50, you can download the update from now on.
