There are several roads that lead to Rome and that includes uninstalling unused apps. You can look in the settings under the ‘Apps’ section, but that is quite cumbersome. Files by Google makes that process a lot easier. This app searches for unused and therefore unnecessary apps on your phone so that you can decide which of these apps can be removed.

1. Download and install the Files by Google app here
2. Tap the tab Browse and then up Applications
3. Tap the button Unused apps
4. Tap the three dots next to the app you want to remove and choose To delete

Similarly, you can filter your apps list by Big apps and Games. Apps that require a lot of memory are indicated by a round icon with ‘MB+’ in it. So you can remove it at your own discretion.

You can also adjust the list to a different view. For example, choose sort by via the menu at the top right Largest first. The apps that take up the most memory are at the top of the list. If you delete one of these apps, you have freed up a lot of storage space in one fell swoop. You can also choose Oldest date first. The least used apps will then be at the top. And if you don’t use them, it’s better to delete them.
