The new Samsung Galaxy models, the S23, the Plus and the Ultra have finally been revealed! So we now know what they look like and can already lift a corner of the veil: there are a number of interesting innovations. We’ll explain exactly what these are in this article.

Protection by new variant Gorilla Glass
The screens of the new models from the Galaxy S23 series are again equipped with Gorilla Glass. This is very sturdy tempered glass that makes the screens more resistant to scratches and falls. Gorilla Glass is produced by the Corning company. The new models get the latest generation on the front and back: Gorilla Glass 8. This glass is so strong that the display won’t even scratch or break if dropped from a height of one metre.
Two other colors
Samsung takes a different tack with the new models with two new colors. Phantom White has been replaced by the color Cream and instead of Gold Pink we see the color Lavender. You can still choose the colors Phantom Black and Green.
Better selfie camera for the basic and Plus model
Do you like to take selfies? With the 12-megapixel camera on the new models, the snapshots you take of yourself look great! The selfie cameras have the Nightography function for the first time. This way, you can also take beautiful selfie shots at dusk and in the dark.
Main camera to 200 megapixels
The S23 Ultra’s main camera is impressive! It has been updated from 108 megapixels to no less than 200 megapixels! This allows you to take breathtaking photos both day and night with more depth and clarity, even in low light and backlit conditions.
The camera is equipped with the so-called AI Image Enhancer. It ensures that your snapshots look even more beautiful and sharper by adjusting the colors, sharpness and contrast. This way you can immediately share your photos on your socials!
The battery of the S23 and Plus lasts longer
The entry-level model and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus have a larger battery than their predecessors. With the S23 it has gone from 3,700 to 3,900 mAh and with the Plus from 4,500 to 4,700 mAh. This way the devices run out of battery less quickly and you can watch videos or Whatsapp with friends for longer. Nothing has changed in this area with the Ultra, but that’s not so bad with a high battery capacity of 5,000 mAh.
