This is how the bottom menu of the Spotify application will change soon. Do you like it?

As we recently informed you, mobile developers Spotify application after a long time they decided to modify the Android widget. Among other things, because widgets are coming to prominence again thanks to the new iOS. The changes are also related to design transformation Android and the transition to the Material You style. As it turns out, we are working not only on an external desktop player, but also on other elements. For example, the bottom menu changes directly in Spotify.

The bottom of the application now includes the Home, Search, and Your Library buttons, and a row above is a multi-element playback control. All items will remain here, but will look different, less “sharp” and “material”. If we take it from above, the player gets the barrel rounded corners and will no longer occupy the entire width of the display. However, it will still contain a preview image, track title, artist name, and play / pause buttons, add to favorites, and share to other devices.

The very bottom menu will keep the original buttons unchanged, even with the same names, but it will still be environment a little “livelier”. The designers decided to set a transparent background for this part.
