Snapchat keeps crashing continuously, this is a temporary fix

It seems that Snapchat is having serious problems right now. The company has since been informed and is working on a solution.

Snapchat is shutting down

Users on Twitter have it official Snapchat Support account inundated with complaints reporting that a new update caused the app to crash almost immediately upon launch. Many users have also expressed their dissatisfaction via Allestoringen.nl. It appears that the outage is related to the latest iOS app update, but that has not yet been confirmed.

Snapchat has already indicated that the issue is currently under investigation, so hopefully it will be resolved soon so you can scroll through your timeline as usual. For now, we recommend that you don’t update the app until the development team gives users the green light. If you do experience problems, you can try the steps below.

1. Open the settings on your phone
2. Open apps
3. Scroll down the list to the Snapchat app and tap it
4. Tap the dots at the top right
5. Tap on Uninstall updates
