Over the past few weeks, many contradictory leaks regarding the Galaxy S22 have appeared on the web. According to some leakers, Samsung will present the new Galaxy S in the course of January 2022. Assuring that mass production has already started, the German media WinFuture claims that the Unpacked conference will be organized at the end of January at the latest.

Other informants, including the very reliable Ross Young, the CEO of the analysis firm Display Supply Chain Consultants, assure rather that mass production will not begin until early December. Under these conditions, it seems likely that Samsung has decided to postpone the launch of the range to February.

Presentation Unpacked on February 8, 2022, just before the opening of pre-orders

This is also what Jon Prosser, an ultra prolific informant, says. According to a tweet published on November 5, 2021, the American leaker assures that the launch of the Galaxy S22 in stores is scheduled for Friday, February 18, 2022. This is consistent with the South Korean manufacturer’s habits when it comes to launching Galaxy S.

Jon Prosser specifies that pre-orders of the three versions of the range will open as of Tuesday, February 8, 2022. The informant does not mention the date of the Unpacked conference where Samsung will officially unveil the phones. However, it will be recalled that Samsung is used to opening pre-orders in the wake of the presentation.

De facto, we can legitimately expect the Seoul giant to unveil the Galaxy S22 duringan Unpacked conference in the afternoon of February 8, 2022. Right after the end of the conference, Internet users will be free to pre-order the smartphone of their choice. We would be very surprised if Samsung did not open pre-orders on the same day as the presentation. While waiting for the manufacturer to send out the required invitations, we advise you to take Prosser’s assertions with a grain of salt. If the leaker has hit the nail on the head multiple times, there is always the possibility that Samsung will change its plans in the coming weeks.
