March update for Galaxy S22

You naturally want a brand new phone with the latest software. Not only does Samsung promise five years of updates for the S22 series (and several other models); The smartphone also appears immediately with Android 12. The first update for the devices from the Galaxy S22 series is now a fact, so you can enjoy your new device even more. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the first smartphone to appear in our country; the rest will follow next month. The other two devices will also receive this update, DroidApp can confirm.

The update for the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+ and the S22 Ultra has a size of approximately 774MB. The changelog reports that several system apps are being updated to the latest version. We see this, for example, with Notes, Internet, Galaxy Shop and Smart Switch. The exact changes per app are not explained. We can assume that Samsung has also smoothed out some irregularities with this update.

The Galaxy S22 series will also be provided with a security update in March 2022. This is the latest update that Google has made available. The update has not yet been shared by Google, so the exact content of this update is not yet known. That won’t happen until early March. Samsung is well ahead with this and once again shows that it pays full attention to updates.
