Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will receive an update to Android 11 this year
Samsung is planning to provide the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with the update to Android 11 this year. The well-reviewed device was missing from the previously released list in which we got an insight into the rollout of the updates for Galaxy devices.
Android 11 on the go for Galaxy S20 FE
Last week, the Egyptian branch of Samsung shared an overview with the periods in which Samsung devices would update to Android 11. In this overview we saw a large number of well-known devices, but a number were also missing. For the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, the rollout of Android 11 started late last week, and this update also included the One UI 3.0 skin. This allows you to take advantage of many new features and improvements.
Tech-leaker Max Weinbach makes himself heard. In a tweet he mentions two dates. This is about the rollout of an update for the Note 20 and the S20 FE. The two dates under discussion are December 14 and December 27. On one of these two days, Samsung will start with the distribution of Android 11 with One UI 3.0 for the Galaxy Note 20. On the other day it will be the turn of the S20 FE, according to the tweet.
Incidentally, it may take a while before it also arrives in the Netherlands. Whether this will also work in December remains to be seen. As soon as there is more information about this, we will of course keep you informed!
