Apple and Samsung have done good business with their smartphones in the year 2021. The Samsung Galaxy A12 is the best-selling Android smartphone, according to figures from a research firm.
Galaxy A12 sold well
Researcher Counterpoint Research often publishes figures about smartphone sales worldwide. The company has now done that again, with figures for the year 2021. The research shows that the five most sold smartphones in 2021 came from Apple. The iPhone 12 is in first place, followed by the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 13.
In sixth place is the Samsung Galaxy A12. This makes it the best-selling Android smartphone of the year 2021. In 7th and 10th place we find a Xiaomi device; the Redmi 9A and the Redmi 9 are in those places. The Samsung Galaxy A12 would be sold especially well in Western Europe. This is not only due to the large battery, the good camera, but also due to the long software support. This week there was the successor for the device; the Samsung Galaxy A13.
