These are the new Sony WF-C700N earbuds with active noise cancelling

Sony recently launched the WF-C700N. These are earplugs with active noise canceling for daily use. They cost €130 and are now available in three different colours.

These new in-ears from Sony are very small and lightweight and therefore offer a lot of comfort when wearing. Sony has also collected and analyzed a lot of data about ear shapes. Sony then used that data to arrive at what it claims was the best design for these earbuds. So Sony promises that the WF-C700N earbuds have an ergonomic and comfortable fit. This allows you to listen to music or a podcast for longer without realizing that you are wearing in-ears. So for someone looking for earbuds they can wear all day, the Sony WF-C700N earbuds could be a good choice.

With the WF-C700N you get noise cancelling, a technique that filters out annoying and disturbing sounds. If you do want to stay in touch with your surroundings, you can use the Ambient Sound Mode. In this mode, the so-called feedforward microphones receive the ambient noise around the wearer so that you are not surprised by that truck from the right.

The in-ears are stored and charged in a cylindrical charging case that is small and therefore easy to carry. The WF-C700N are available in different colors and of course different tastes have been taken into account. You can choose from the colors black, white, purple and green.

Smart earbuds

With Adaptive Sound Control you automatically change the ambient sound settings so that the sound adapts to where you are. A quiet library, in traffic or in a busy restaurant. These in-ears also use DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine). This should provide powerful bass tones and a clear high sound. Do you want to adjust the sound to your personal wishes? Then you connect the earbuds to Sony’s Sony Headphones app and adjust the sound with the equalizer.

The earphones last up to 10 hours without noise canceling and 7.5 hours with noise cancelling. These in-ears can withstand a splash of water and sweat thanks to the IPX4 certificate. Also handy, the Sony WF-C700N earbuds work with multipoint technology. This allows you to connect the earbuds to two different devices at the same time. For example, you can listen to music on your laptop and take a call via your phone. Your earbuds know which device is ringing and automatically connect to the correct device. Speaking of calling, thanks to Wind Noise Reduction Structure, your voice will be heard clearly even if you are outside in the wind.
