Samsung brings January update to Galaxy S20 series: this is new

Samsung has prepared a new update for the three devices from the Galaxy S20 series. The January update brings a series of Android security improvements for the Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra.

Good news for those who own a Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 + or S20 Ultra. All three of these smartphones will now be updated in the Netherlands with a new update. Do not expect a major update full of new functions, it is only a security patch, with security update January 2021. At the beginning of this week, this update was already released by Google and Samsung has already rolled out the update to various devices. So now it’s the turn of the S20 series.

We received the tip from Jan and Theo. The size of the update is 163.12MB and can be downloaded from now on. Google itself has put dozens of patches in the update. On top of that, Samsung has also added 9 patches for fixes in the security of Galaxy models. When you can download the update, you will receive a notification on your device. The Galaxy S20 FE will follow at a later date.
