These types of deep-sea machines are mainly used for professional purposes. However, it is now also possible to play tourist underwater on board your own submarine.
The U-Boat Worx is a small submarine and consists largely of glass. This way you and your passengers can enjoy the underwater world to the fullest. Sitting on luxury seats, you can go on an adventure with a total of 9 people on board. It is possible to go under water up to 200 meters. That’s pretty deep! The interior space is 914 litres.
This private submarine is equipped with an electric powertrain. The battery pack is 62 kWh and the battery lasts up to 18 hours on a full charge. The private submarine has a weight of 11,000 kg.
It is possible to indicate that you are interested on the U-Boat website. A cool detail is that this is a Dutch company, located in Breda. It is unknown what such a private submarine should cost. But that, like a private jet, will not be a cheap affair.
