OnePlus Nord 2 CE specifications have been leaked: this is what we can expect

Several manufacturers will launch a new smartphone next year. That is also the case with OnePlus. Information about the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 CE has been leaked and we are now finding out.

We have already seen several messages about the OnePlus 10, but in the meantime more devices are coming from the Chinese OnePlus. As an extension to the OnePlus Nord series, we can expect the OnePlus Nord 2 CE soon. This smartphone will replace the current OnePlus Nord CE. But what can we expect with the new model?

The smartphone will receive a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset from the brand, an octa-core processor that is comparable to the performance of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G. Furthermore, a 6.4-inch OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate is expected. The OnePlus Nord 2 CE comes with a RAM of between 6 and 12GB, and 128/256GB of storage space. The battery capacity would amount to 4500, with the charging speed being considerably increased. Where the previous model was still able to charge with a 30W speed, the new OnePlus Nord 2 CE would come to 65 watts.

With the OnePlus Nord 2 CE, the camera would have received less attention. This should be the same as that of the current model. This means a 64 megapixel main camera, 8 megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens. The phone would come with a 16 megapixel front camera. As with the previous mode, this Nord 2 CE would not get the handy alert slider as we see it on various OnePlus devices. There is, however, a 3.5 millimeter connection. The rumor also reports a price of between 280 and 330 euros. The starting price of the current model was 299 euros at launch, so it is quite possible that the same price is used for the device.

It is not clear whether the smartphone will also be released in Europe again, but that is the case with the current Nord CE. According to the information, OnePlus would like to announce it at least for India. The release is scheduled for late January or mid-February. Photos of the new Nord 2 CE are still missing.
