Google Pixel 6a is faster than Pixel 6

Google got a lot right with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. With the Pixel 6a, however, a cheaper version of the smartphone is now announced, which should really pack a punch. The small improvement in performance could have several reasons. Maybe a slightly different design, which cools the chip better and allows it to develop its potential more. Or the Pixel 6a’s software has been optimized so that more power is available. There is not a big difference, but it shows that in the chip there is still potential. It is quite possible that the small increase in performance will also be released for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

The presentation is expected in mid-May as part of Google I/O 2022. There is also speculation about the introduction of a smartwatch and a tablet. If that’s the case, Google could attack Apple’s ecosystem and offer a strong alternative.
