New open world games, remakes and more – all from Nintendo Direct

The latest Nintendo Direct had a lot in store for fans. There was new information and new images for New Pokémon Snap, new remakes have been announced and you can look forward to a fresh open-world game for the Nintendo Switch. We have summarized everything that was shown for you.

Pokémon: There are a few surprises for its 25th birthday

After the Pokémon franchise saw the light of day in 1996, the universe of colorful pocket monsters provided enough material for numerous games, anime, films, merchandise products, clothing and much more. A lot has happened in the last 25 years. Reason enough to celebrate with the community and maybe to make one or the other wish come true.

New Pokémon Snap

In New Pokémon Snap you are on land, in the water and in the air to watch wild Pokémon and with luck to land a really good snapshot.

Experience the world day and night, feed the Pokémon to attract their attention or play a tune to please them. Special orbs that you get from the professor also allow you to light up the monsters for a very special photo.

Thanks one extensive photo mode you can even embellish your snapshots with stickers and more before sharing them with the community around the world.

New Pokémon Snap is expected to be released on April 30, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl

In 2007, two Pokémon games, Diamond and Pearl, were released for the Nintendo DS. After 15 years you can now get over Remakes of the cute classics looking forward.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are expected to be released for Nintendo Switch at the end of 2021.

Pokémon Legends Arceus

With Pokémon Legends Arceus, The Pokémon Company has one new action RPG adventure announced. Game Freak’s development is currently in full swing.

The game takes you back in time. You live in a small town to learn more about the country you live in. Use your starter Pokémon to search for wild Pokémon, catch them or face epic battles. That’s what you stand for a big open world to disposal.

Pokémon Legends Arceus is expected to be released for Nintendo Switch in early 2022.
