New iPad Pro will appear in 2024 – with a new OLED screen

New iPad Pro is coming
A new version of the iPad Pro is coming, which is said to have an even more advanced screen than the current generation. The new tablet may be equipped with an OLED screen.
Apple introduced the mini LED screen with the 12.9-inch version of the iPad Pro 2022. The smaller iPad Pro 2022 has to make do with an LCD screen. That will probably change with the new iPad Pro 2024.

Apple brings the OLED screen to both the small and the large version of the iPad Pro. That means a considerable upgrade, especially for the model with the 11-inch screen. It is not surprising that Apple is switching to a new OLED screen, because the technology has a number of advantages. We put them together for you.
Advantages of the OLED screen with the iPad Pro
The iPad Pro 2024 is not the first Apple device with an OLED screen. The iPhone, the Apple Watch and the Touch Bar of the older MacBook Pro also have this screen. If the iPad also switches to OLED, you will soon see this clearly. An OLED screen has improved brightness, higher contrast, wider viewing angles and deeper black tones.
The latter is possible because an OLED display can switch off individual pixels and therefore does not have to show a ‘black image’. That is also one of the reasons why more and more apps are getting a dark mode and a dark mode has existed since iOS 13.
This mode is not only nice for your eyes, but also saves power. With an OLED screen, the battery will last a bit longer with the new iPad Pro.
iPad Pro will appear in 2024
If we are to believe the rumors, the iPad Pro with an OLED screen will appear next year. Apple will start mass production in the spring of 2024 and will probably present the new iPad in the fall. The iPad Pro 2022 appeared on October 22, so we can probably also expect the iPad Pro 2024 around that time.
