Leaked images of case show new design
Twitterer Sonny Dickson has a picture shared of an alleged case for the upcoming Apple Watch Pro. Other pictures of new covers have also appeared on Weibo (Chinese Facebook).
These confirm the new robust design and extra special physical buttons on the side of the smartwatch. This is the first time we hear of that. We will inform you about how Apple has changed the design and what the physical buttons are most likely for.
Will Apple Watch (Series 8) Pro get a flatter design?
The new Apple Watch Pro is rumored to have a new rugged titanium design with a larger screen. The images of the cases also confirm that the screen will be flatter than previous Apple Watch designs. According to the image of the case, the design of the Apple Watch Pro is not completely square, but partly rounded.
The flatter screen should ensure that the watch can withstand falls better. With the Apple Watch Series 8 Pro you will soon be able to view more sports data at a glance on the larger display. The display is then also almost two inches diagonally. In addition, the larger battery should ensure that the Apple Watch can handle longer training units.
Where the previous Apple Watch had the speaker openings, now seem to be buttons. At least, the photos of the Apple Watch Pro cases suggest at least one new button on the right side. Whether this is a new speaker design or additional physical buttons is unclear. In the case of the second, it is every athlete’s dream.
Physical buttons also work properly on rainy days. This way you can see all your statistics with one click or, for example, start or close a training session. The molds for the digital crown and side button on the right side of the screen also tell us that these buttons will stick out more than on older Apple Watch models. Buy Apple Watch Pro: that’s how expensive it gets
The Apple Watch Pro will likely cost significantly more than the Apple Watch Series 8. It is expected to retain the same design as the current Series 7. Mark Gurman, a trusted analyst at Bloombergsuggests the new watch could be priced between $900 and $1,000.
We expect the watch to be announced on Wednesday during the ‘Far Out’ event. Today we are particularly looking forward to the iPhone 14 (Pro) and two other Apple Watches. We can also hope for the AirPods Pro 2.
