Realme GT3 with 240W charging announced in Barcelona (hands-on)

On the second day of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ​​Realme has announced its new Realme GT3. The brand’s new smartphone can charge very quickly.

A new smartphone has been added to Realme’s portfolio. The Chinese manufacturer has announced the Realme GT3, where the brand stands out with the 240W charging of the new phone. With this power, charging the 4600 mAh battery takes only 9.5 minutes from 0 to 100 percent. In eighty seconds, the device is already twenty percent full and charging to 50 percent takes only four minutes, Realme promises.

So everything revolves around the device to charge the smartphone as quickly as possible. This was evident from the press conference where DroidApp was present. But of course the phone has more to offer.

What is also striking is the luminous ring on the back, which is called Pulse Interface. It can show more than 25 colors. Not only can it handle notifications, but it can also light up when the camera’s timer is counting down, when the battery is low, or when gaming. You can also choose different speeds for the light and you can personalize various things.

The Realme GT3 is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. With this, it seems that it is a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 5 that was previously presented for China. The smartphone will have a 6.74 inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen, Android 13 with the Realme UI 4.0 interface, which is very reminiscent of the same interface of OnePlus and Oppo, which belong to the same parent company as Realme.

The smartphone comes with a 50-megapixel camera along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel auxiliary lens. At the front is a 16-megapixel camera. Whether there are special functions is not known. After all, the camera did not receive any attention in the press conference.

Realme supplies the device from a configuration with 8GB/128GB. For this variant, the price is $ 649. Realme could not tell us whether the device is coming to the Netherlands. In any case, Realme has no information about where the device will be released for what price. Since the price in euros is not reported, and this information is therefore also missing, we keep in mind that the Realme GT3 will pass us by.
