midranger with 108 megapixel camera
A new smartphone has been announced by Motorola. The brand presents today the Moto G72, which takes place in the middle segment. The manufacturer also announced the new Edge 30 expansion last month.
Moto G72 official
After we already saw the new Edge 30 models last month, Motorola took the canvas off the Moto G72 today. It is the latest addition to the mid-range segment, with the Moto G72 being the successor to the Moto G71. Motorola takes things seriously with excellent specifications. We see this first in the large 6.6-inch pOLED screen, which is equipped with HDR10 + and a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, Motorola has added Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and there is a 5000 mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 30W.
The MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor keeps things going. The striking thing about this processor is that there is no 5G in the device, something that was the case with the cheaper G62 and the previous G71. There is 128GB of storage available and the phone comes with Android 12, with My UX from Motorola itself. As mentioned, the Moto G72 has a 108 megapixel main camera. This is complemented by an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. At the front is a 16 megapixel selfie lens. You can film with the Moto G72 in 4K.
The Moto G72 will be available from mid-November for €299.99. For this you get it in the color Meteorite Gray, although Motorola itself also offers the colors Polar Blue and Mineral White.
