ING is again struggling with disruption: payments impossible (November 7)

Problems at ING Bank again. Due to problems with the (mobile) banking app and the internet banking environment of the orange-colored bank, it is impossible to perform certain actions, such as mobile payment.

The week is off to a bad start for ING customers. Around lunchtime on Monday 7 November, bank customers are experiencing problems with various issues. This is clear from our own findings, but also from the many reports that are made online. With today’s outage, it is the fourth outage at ING in less than a month. Previously, there were also many problems with payments, transfers, payment requests and iDeal payments. That is now the case again.

For example, if you want to pay for your online purchase, the app will hang in the loading screen, where you normally select an account. You will then receive an error message. The problem seems to be spread across the Netherlands. It is still unknown when the malfunction at ING will be resolved.
