When the school calls, eighty scenarios flash through your mind, none of them good. Fortunately, disaster is not always the case. As with Melanie (37), mother of Felyn (9).

“Felyn had just been at school for one week when we got a call asking if we could come. She was not punished, but it turned out she couldn’t use a computer. When working on the PC, Felyn was the only one who didn’t know how neither the computer nor the mouse worked. According to the school guidelines on motor skills, this is disturbing and the teacher now had to offer her one hour of tutoring a week. A toddler! Fortunately, the teacher – a tough one, still from the training college – also thought it was the greatest nonsense. It all turned out fine on its own.”
