Important iOS feature now finally available on Android!

This will save you time. It was already possible on iOS and now it is finally possible on Android: erase your search history at lightning speed.

For whatever reason, there may be something in your browser history that you’d rather just forget. It could be anything. An exceptional question that you should search on Google, or something you’d rather not have others read if they’re on your phone sporadically.

Search history Android

On iOS, it’s very easy to clear Google search results history from the last 15 minutes. With just one push of a button. Note bene Android users had to check, because until recently that was not possible at all on Google’s mobile operating system. That is finally changing.

In the Google app on Android, users are given the option to delete 15 minutes of search results on Google with one touch. The feature has been live on iOS since the summer of 2021 and the search history feature is now also coming to Android. If you want to delete more extensive search results, or the complete browser history, you still have to go to the settings of your browser. This feature is a shortcut to quickly clear recent searches to refresh the search history. (via The Verge)
