For relaxation with the engine away? Then we would like to introduce you to the Calimoto app. With this application your motorcycle trip will be a lot more fun. This app has been specially developed for those who like to go out on a motorcycle. Are you looking for a beautiful route from A to B, or are you ready for a round trip? With the Calimoto app you have it all in the palm of your hand (or at the wheel of course).

When you start the Calimoto app, you will first receive an explanation about the application. You can create an account to track your routes and share your experiences with others, and sync routes from the website to your phone. You can also choose to use the app without an account. In the free version you can download the map of one area for free and use it. Think, for example, of the region of North Holland, South Holland, Utrecht. Winding (country) roads are extra accentuated on the map.

Motorcycle route

You can choose different options via the application. The route from A to B, a round trip or a spontaneous tour within a certain time frame. In the side menu you can also choose to track your own route and keep track of it in the Calimoto app. When planning a trip within a certain time or distance, the app presents a nice route. You can also adjust these yourself, for example more highway, or more winding roads. The ‘Super Curvy Roads’ option is only available for a fee.

If you plan a motorcycle route, you can choose from different types of roads. You can add an infinite number of waypoints. Between each via point you can choose whether you want a fast route or a winding route. Important POI locations are also shown in the application, such as a restaurant or a gas station. Via the Calimoto app you can also find routes of others that you can drive, great for inspiration. After your trip you get a tour analysis with, for example, the maximum lean angle of the bike in bends, the speed, height and more. Of course Calimoto also takes care of the navigation during your ride.

Premium

Premium members get even more features. For example, you can use all maps for 6.99 euros per week, 49.99 euros per year, you get to see many more statistics, you can choose super winding roads when planning your route and you receive notifications from, for example, speed cameras (in available countries).

The application also shows the live weather, so that you can take into account that you will get a wet suit. If you only want to use all cards, without the premium functions, you pay 99.99 euros once and you can use and download the cards forever.
