Horizon Forbidden West – -apkrig

Continuation of Horizon Zero Dawn Sony dedicated the entire episode of the State of Play band. In Horizon Forbidden West, Aloy heads, as the name suggests, to the west, where he meets even more dangerous machines and even more manipulative people half a year after the end of the first part. As the ruins of the Golden Gate Bridge reveal, the main venue this time will be California.

In fourteen minutes of footage from playing on PlayStation 5, the creators of the Guerrilla Games studio showed one of the earlier missions, where Aloy sets out to free his old friend Erend from the clutches of the Tenakth tribe. This tribe, like the main heroine, can hack local robotic animals, including a giant elephant, which the creators named Tremortusk. But enemies are also waiting for you in the form of robopterodactyls, robo lizards or roboalligators.

Despite the fact that Forbidden West will probably be “more of the same” for the most part, Aloy also has a lot of new toys at its disposal, which will come in handy both when moving around the open world and in the fights themselves.

A projectile pull hook and an electric parachute have been added to its arsenal, which also serves as a shield. When diving, they put on a special oxygen mask, thanks to which you can explore the beauties of the underwater world of the Pacific without restrictions. You will also be able to tame new types of robots, which will be helped by the improved Focus, which also shows you where you can climb in rugged terrain.

The authors claim that they want to give players more freedom, not only in movement but also in combat. The spear that Aloy has and is her only weapon nearby, will now be fitted with various improvements and you can chain new combos with it. With smoke grenades, you can temporarily blind enemies.

You will be able to shoot various special arrows from the bow again, including those that tear off armor or components from enemies and reveal their sensitive places. An interesting part of the arsenal are sticky grenades, which Aloy shoots with a slingshot and can stun opponents for a short time. You will also be able to gradually improve your weapons. In any case, the battles in the demo look more dynamic and you can make more use of the vertical design of the levels.

However, the absence of an announcement of the release date was a little frozen, especially when the creators recently claimed that they are chasing Horizon Forbidden West this autumn. But even if Aloy didn’t move west next year, could you be angry with her? At least the Guerrilla Games have promised to come up with more detailed information soon.
