According to new reports, three Chinese manufacturers are planning to attack with their own variants. In the third quarter of 2021, both Xiaomi as well as Oppo and Vivo bring their own folding phones onto the market.

What the competition is up to is no longer a particularly big secret, at least with Xiaomi. The Mi Mix Fold was announced in March 2021 and put on sale in China for the equivalent of around 1,300 euros.

The second version of the foldable smartphone is said to be the first reports not that expensive , although this is certainly not going to be a real bargain. It remains unclear whether it is Mi Mix Fold 2 from Xiaomi will also be available in Europe. Xiaomi’s already dazzling sales figures could be even better with a foldable smartphone.
