Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra renders show a notch

Samsung’s upcoming tablet Galaxy Tab S8 is officially still a mystery, but from leaked renders we can already make a few things about the tablets. Plural, because Samsung would work on three tablets, including the Ultra that has a notch.

Nice OnLeaks shows us that Ultra and the regular Galaxy Tab S8. No images are yet available for the Plus model. Where the S8 shows little new under the sun in terms of look, because it is very similar to the predecessor S7, Ultra does offer a physical change.

Galaxy Tab S8 will most likely run on the Snapdragon 888 processor. It is equipped with an 11-inch screen (LCD) with a high refresh rate. Thanks to such a higher refresh rate, scrolling through timelines, for example, feels a lot smoother. The same goes for games: because the image refreshes more often, your character’s movements seem smoother. There is a magnetic strip on the back that is meant to hold the S Pen.

Thinnest screen bezels ever

The possibly poorly available Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is probably equipped with a 14.6 inch OLED screen and probably measures 32.6 x 20.8 centimeters. The screen with the thinnest screen bezels on a tablet ever. In a notch you will find the selfie camera. It is not yet clear on which processor this tablet does its work.

These tablets are expected to appear before the end of this year, but there is also a chance that Samsung will wait until the Samsung Galaxy S22 appears at the beginning of 2022.

We can’t fully see these renders as the official end product, because sometimes things change or something is not right. Still, the past shows that renders are usually largely right, despite not belonging to official information from the supplier.
