CrownCruiser: cool e-bike with an attractive price tag
E-bikes come in all shapes and sizes. But the CrownCruiser is one that grabs attention in a good way.
The image of the e-bike has changed enormously over the years. From bicycles for the elderly to a lifestyle product on two wheels. This is mainly due to the cool e-bikes with a special design. The CrownCruiser is a good example of this.
The CrownCruiser has a design that is reminiscent of a motorcycle. But make no mistake, it’s just an e-bike. The entire body of the bike is made of carbon fiber. The bike is equipped with a powerful 1000W motor. This one comes in two flavours. With 250W and a top speed of 25 km/h. And a variant with 750W and a top speed of 50 km/h. The latter is not relevant for the Netherlands. At such speeds you can no longer talk about a harmless e-bike.
You can order the CrownCruiser in multiple colors. The example in the photos is green, but you don’t have to choose that if this isn’t your thing. There is a smartphone holder and range is up to 160 kilometers.
The price is quite competitive considering the design and the materials chosen. For $3,250, this e-bike is yours. At least, if the product actually comes on the market soon. The makers are trying to launch the initiative on the basis of crowdfunding on Indiegogo. The good news is that the intended financial target has already been achieved.
