Ford is recalling over 100,000 cars

Ford recalls more than 100,000 vehicles due to fire hazard. In hybrid and PHEV cars, fuel vapors and oil can potentially get into the ignition. This is the second recall of this type after cars caught fire.

In the US, Ford has significantly expanded its recall, which has been in place since May 2022. Well should over 100,000 hybrid and PHEV vehicles back to the workshop. The models affected are the Ford Escape, Maverick and Corsair with 2.5-liter engines. Customers should contact the manufacturer if their car was produced in 2020-2022.
