Flitsmeister 10.0: Huge update with Focus Mode, challenge fines and more

Flitsmeister is one of the most used apps in the Netherlands. Not surprising, because thanks to this handy app you can save (a lot of) money. Now it’s time for a big update; Flitsmeister 10.0 is being rolled out. What’s new?

Open the Google Play Store, because there is a new update ready for the Flitsmeister app. The latest update brings the app to version 10.0. In Flitsmeister 10.0 you will find a lot of new functions that should make the traffic app even better. These are new functions for Flitsmeister Pro users, which will also be subject to some changes. Let’s start with the new features that can be found in the app from now on.

New is the Focus Mode. This allows you to simplify the display of Flitsmeister, so that only what is relevant for that moment is shown in the picture. Think about when you get the turn, what the speed limit is and what your current speed is. You can also use the new app icons to use. The paying users have access to 24 new app icons that you can place on your home screen. This can be, for example, the old Flitsmeister logo, or new, trendy 3D icons. New vehicles on the map is also a new feature. You can choose from one of the 18 new vehicles that are displayed on the map during navigation.

Another new option is to directly send a via Flitsmeister to challenge the fine. Handy if, for example, you have received a ticket for speeding or parking. Flitsmeister works together with Appjection for this, where you can quickly object by sending in a photo. If you are in the right, the third party will receive a percentage of this, there are no further costs involved. Finally, a new feature is that you can search back in the flash history. This can be useful if you want to check whether you have not accidentally driven past a speed camera at too high a speed.

The subscription model of Flitsmeister Pro has also changed. Where this was previously 8.99 euros per year, this is now 1.49 euros per month, with a free trial of 7 days first. The users with Flitsmeister Pro are automatically converted to the new Pro.
