Does Twitter want to upset everyone? It has a new place for advertising
When the social network Facebook and a few sister platforms and communicators collapsed for a few hours a few days ago, many people went looking for a connection to the digital world on competing Twitter. Its owners could rub their hands that they had the opportunity to be in the limelight, at least temporarily. Otherwise, this social network is not in a completely comfortable situation and, for example, it still invents in which formats to users deliver advertising. The last planned attempt is quite intrusive and people will most likely not like it at all. These are ads directly in the middle of an ongoing conversation under posts.
Starting today, we’re trying something different and testing a new ad format in Tweet conversations. If you’re a part of this test (which is global; on iOS & Android only), you’ll see ads after the first, third or eighth reply under a Tweet. 🗣️ pic.twitter.com/kvIGeYt2vp

It would be difficult to choose a place where advertising will be more visible, but at the same time sucks the scrolling user. These are contextual ads, which means that they should be related in some way to the post under which the discussion is conducted.
Twitter has officially announced that these ad blocks may appear after the first, third and eighth responses as part of testing in both Android and iOS applications. The experiment should run for several months. If we were to bet, many fans would not get this format among regular content consumers.
How often do you go on Twitter? And how do you perceive advertising in it?
