Does the new Volksstromer come from China?

German automakers have to be careful. There is strong competition from Asia with brands such as BYD, Hyundai, Kia, Nio and Aiways. Chinese manufacturers in particular are successfully involved in e-cars. One sends a Stromer to Germany, where not only the price can convince.

The compact electric vehicle called MG Mulan is visually convincing. However, the Chinese name is not expected for the international market. As the electric successor to the MG 3 compact car, it should in Europe as MG 4 on the road be.

MG aims at Volksstromer – and could beat VW and Co. in price

With its compact dimensions – an expected length of around 4.30 m – the MG 4 is a direct competitor for the ID.3, but above all for the Cupra Born. MG could cost the VW group a few electric customers. Especially since it is to be expected that the Chinese want to score points with a low price. It is quite possible that VW and Ford will not be late with their plans for an electric car under 25,000 euros before 2025.
