That the Royole brand doesn’t tell you anything? It doesn’t matter, these are devices that are exclusively Chinese. However, this brand changed the smartphone market forever – it was the first to launch a flexible smartphone. It was only a few months before Samsung and Huawei, who also responded with devices of the same type of design. However, Royole will remain the first forever. It’s been three years since the first FlexPai and the company has significantly improved its equipment. What we like the most is the solution for embedding the island with cameras in the other side of the device when it is fully open.

It’s a very clever solution that Samsung could later borrow with its Galaxy Fold3. It would allow it to open completely, similar to the first Surface from Microsoft or the latest flexible device from Huawei – Mate X2. This allows you to hold the device in your hand more naturally and write more comfortably.

Have you noticed some interesting things about this tablet-smartphone? It has a retractable camera, which is something we haven’t seen before with these devices. It also lacks a second display that would be visible when closed, similar to the Samsung Galalxy Fold3. So you do not have the ability to quickly view notifications, time, battery status and the like.

We also know a few specifications of this device: it has a 7.2 ″ screen in the open state, 3360 mAh battery, Android OS of unknown version and 5G connectivity. You may notice a fingerprint sensor on the side and a USB-C input on the bottom right. The dimensions of the device are 147.1 x 138.8 x 7 mm.
