Apple is organizing a keynote on October 18, 2021, Mac M1X on the menu?

Apple has just confirmed the information: a new Keynote will take place on October 18, 2021. The Apple brand has just sent out invitations to the press and of course the event will be broadcast online on YouTube. What will this presentation have in store for us? Rumors are rife about the presence of the new Mac M1X, a redesigned Mac mini and who knows AirPods 3.

After a Keynote dedicated to the iPhone 13, the iPad Mini 2021 or the Apple Watch Series 7, Apple is once again meeting the fans and the press on October 18, 2021 for another conference. Indeed, Apple has started sending invitations today for its new Keynote. Of course, Apple has kept a low profile on the content of the presentation.

Nevertheless, we inevitably expect that the company will take advantage of this second fall event to unveil its brand new Macs, and in particular the Mac M1X. Rumors already claimed that the Mac M1X would be presented in October 2021. The official announcement of Apple’s Keynote only confirms these statements. As a reminder, this new MacBook Pro would embark an M1X home processor with 10 cores (8 high performance cores and 2 energy efficient cores) with a 16 or 32 core GPU.

Mac M1X and AirPods 3 at the center of the Keynote?

The MacBook Pro M1X wouldn’t be the only device in the spotlight. Apple could take advantage of this Keynote to unveil a whole new redesigned Mac Mini, which should also benefit from Apple’s new processor. We also think of the new wireless headphones: AirPods 3. We expected them during the previous Keynote dedicated to the iPhone 13, but the Cupertino company obviously preferred to keep them under the elbow. We already know that the production of AirPods 3 has started, so everything suggests that they will be presented on October 18, 2021.

Nevertheless, it is quite possible that Apple is satisfied with a simple press release to formalize the existence of AirPods 3. For good reason, the Apple brand has opted for this option on multiple occasions, whether for the AirPods Max, for the AirPods Pro or even for the AirPods 2. We will obviously have the answer to all these questions during the next Apple Keynote scheduled for October 18, 2021. Note that we do not yet have information on the opening time of the conference.
