Apple iPhone 14 presentation on September 7

Put September 7 in your calendar, because Apple aims to present the iPhone 14 to the world on that day.

The iPhone 13 was cold in the store or the first rumors about the number 14 were already thrown on the internet. After all those speculations and leaked specs, it is probably time for the new iPhone 14 presentation on September 7th.

At least that’s what the quality publication Bloomberg thinks. They think they know with certainty that the time has come on that date. An important day for Apple, because the brand’s smartphone accounts for half of its turnover. A new version is then a very important announcement.

Weakening sales

Smartphone sales are not going well at the moment. Consumers are troubled by inflation and fear a recession. However, Apple is less affected by this and sold well in the second quarter of 2022 and has also indicated to its suppliers that they do not expect a decline in demand either.

More news

Where a new iPhone is always the biggest news at an Apple event (in 2021 good for 52.5 percent of sales), there will of course be more news next to the Apple iPhone 14. Bloomberg is already philosophizing what we can expect next to a new phone.

For example, they think that Apple will announce additional functions to the latest Series 8 Apple Watch, such as a body temperature sensor and extra functions especially for female users. The standard watch will resemble the Series 7, but a new pro model will target sporty customers with, among other things, a larger screen. Apple may also announce a cheaper model, the Watch SE.

In addition to the Apple iPhone 14, a new iOS edition 16 is also expected on September 7th. And watchOS 9. There may also be an announcement of new Macs with the latest M2 processors.

The event will be streamed online and not a live gathering. Bloomberg reports that the employees have been busy with recordings in recent weeks. Now just have to wait for the official announcement.
