Disney Plus has landed a hit with The Mandalorian. Because the Star Wars series is not only well received by die-hard fans, but also by critics. With Mandalorian Season 3, a new sequel is now in the starting blocks.

The Mandalorian’s journey through the Star Wars universe continues. While the second season almost indicated the end of the series, Mandalorian Season 3 is now a new sequel in the starting blocks.

Again official trailers reveals, once lonely bounty hunter Din Djarin and his protégé Grogu are reunited in the new season after saying goodbye in Season 2. The Mandalorian will also meet old allies and new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

When is Mandalorian season 3 coming?

Madalorian Season 3 is available to stream exclusively on Disney Plus starting March 1, 2023. As with the previous two seasons, the total of eight episodes will probably appear again on a weekly basis. Although hardly any details about the individual episodes are known, they should again be around 40 to 45 minutes long on average.

Despite little leaking of Season 3 so far, it’s no secret that The Mandalorian is hugely successful and popular. And while Disney hasn’t officially confirmed it yet, there’s a good chance the series will have a fourth season as well. The chattered actor Giancarlo Esposito already in September 2020.

The Mandalorian on Disney Plus

The Mandalorian Season 3 stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. The eight episodes are directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Jon Favreau continued as showrunner and head writer, along with producers Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Executive co-producers are Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck.
