Hogwarts Legacy – Find and rescue Rococo

In “Rescuing Rococo” in Hogwarts Legacy you must find and rescue the Niffler Rococo in Henrietta’s lair in order to bring him back to his owner. There are a few puzzles to solve and enemies to defeat. At this point we will help you with all the tricky parts of this quest.

Start “The Rescue of Rococo”.

You can start this side quest from the merchant Agnes Coffey in Bainburgh north in the Cape Manor region. The quest is unlocked there after the 32nd main mission “Way Up” and you can activate it via the map.

Agnes asks you to Find Niffler Rococo in Henrietta’s hideout. You can find this dungeon further south on the map. Just follow the quest marker and it will lead you right to the entrance. By the way, you can also solve Henrietta’s card here.

1. Solve cube puzzles

Right at the beginning of the hiding place you have to solve a dice puzzle in order to open a gate. The cube is already placed on the right side. The symbol on it tells you that you have the Cast Glacius spell need to activate the button.

You can find the other cube on the left side behind the statue. Ignite the chalice in front of the statue with the spell Incendio to make the statue spin and release the cube. Then place the cube with Wingardium Leviosa or Accio on the left button and light it with Incendio to activate that button and open the gate.

overcome the trap

After a larger area with enemies you have to go through a passage where there is a floor trap. This pulls you through the wall again and again and throws you back in front of the floor. In order to prevent this, you must target the ground and cast the Arresto Momentum spell. This will slow down the floor trap and allow you to safely cross it.

2. Solve cube puzzles

After another fight with many enemies, only one more cube puzzle blocks your way to Rococo. This time you must first find both cubes in the environment and place them on the buttons. The first cube is behind what appears to be a wall on the right side of the room. The wall under the banister will open as you approach and you can walk through it to get to the cube.

Unfortunately, you can no longer go back through the wall. So lift the cube with Wingardium Leviosa and run up the stairs in the southeast over the upper floor back into the puzzle room.

Place the cube on the right button and light it with Incendio. For the second cube, you now go exactly the same way again through the apparent wall up to the banister of the puzzle room. On the opposite side you can drag the second cube with Wingardium Leviosa towards you.

Place the second cube on the left button and cast Levioso Levitation Charm on it. This will activate both buttons and the gate will open.

Find Rococo and complete the quest

In the next room you can find a lot of loot, a treasure chest and Find Niffler Rococo, which you can capture with your Grab Bag. Then return back to Agnes Coffey in Bainburgh to complete the quest.
