A new MacBook Pro supporting Wi-Fi 6E appears in a database

A new MacBook Pro with reference A2779 has appeared in a database in Canada that relates to audio material. Such a computer with the reference A2779 does not exist in commerce, which suggests an imminent release.

We learn that Canada approved Apple’s request for this new MacBook Pro on January 11 and that it supports Wi-Fi 6E. Unfortunately, there is no information about the release date.

Wi-Fi 6E offers the features and capabilities of Wi-Fi 6, including higher performance, lower latency, and faster transfer rates, all extended with the 6 GHz band. The extra spectrum provides more airspace than existing 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, which helps increase bandwidth and reduce interference.

Regarding the release, it could take place within the next few days. Indeed, Canada may not indicate anything, a rumor published earlier revealed that Apple would be preparing to make announcements related to Macs, with announcements that would fall tomorrow. Will this affect the MacBook Pro supporting Wi-Fi 6E? It’s possible, especially since insistent rumors have already indicated that Apple plans to launch its 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros soon with the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.
