‘A lot in a very short time’
Former K3 singer Karen Damen talks candidly about her miscarriage a few years ago in the Belgian program ‘James De Musical’ by James Cooke, and the difficult period that followed.
A day after the loss of her child, her grandmother passed away. Another day later, she was on stage to celebrate K3’s tenth anniversary.
“I had a miscarriage on October 16, my grandmother passed away on October 17 and on October 18 and 19 we celebrated 10 years of K3. So it was put together in a very short time, so I was like: wait a minute,” says the singer. In spite of everything, Karen continues to win. “I even sang ‘Grandmas at the top’. You just do that.”
