This guy is livestreaming a Galaxy S21 that has been under water for 11 days

Samsung has announced in the Galaxy S21 series that the device is waterproof. With this, the device must keep it under water for half an hour. Someone has filled his aquarium and put it to the test, and that in a nice live stream.

The manufacturer recently released the devices in the Netherlands. an enthusiast was curious how much time the phone could really stay under water. According to the manufacturer, the device must be able to survive underwater for half an hour. Reason enough for a YouTuber to put it to the test, fill his aquarium and broadcast it all live on YouTube.

The phone has now been in the aquarium for over 11 days and the device is still working. The maker has attached a wireless charger to the back of the aquarium, so that the battery always remains full. The stopwatch shows how long the phone has been underwater. Because the timer automatically stopped after 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds, the stopwatch will restart after that time. That is recorded in the video.

After 117 hours and 53 minutes, the phone indicated moisture was detected. The screen was unresponsive and kept jumping between applications. A push of a button was all it took to get it going again, even that completely underwater. After 241 hours and 10 minutes it was checked whether the speakers could still prove themselves. The sound is very quiet and barely audible, but the phone still works.
